Metrics

BitsReef records resource usage for every service so you can see how it behaves under load. Metrics are collected with Prometheus and cAdvisor — the same signals that drive autoscaling and billing.

  • CPU — percentage of the service’s vCPU allocation in use.
  • Memory — megabytes used against the service’s limit.
  • Network — bytes received and transmitted.
  • Replicas — how many instances are currently running.
  1. Open a service and go to its Metrics tab.
  2. Read the current snapshot and the usage charts over time.

The same measured usage is what your bill is metered on — only RAM and vCPU meter, and only on what you actually use, not what you allocate. See Billing & usage.
